Default kinda of a weird question

So i have an 1987 f150 with a straight 6, i have searched this forum for 2 days and haven't found anyone do what i want to do im sure there is a thread i just cant find it. But what i want to do/know is it even viable to put a camper in the bed of this truck or would i have needed the 302 engine. Still new to owning fords but i couldnt pass up the chance to own a truck like my grandfather did i've had so much fun fixing this truck up and learning. Thank you for anyones feed back.

The straight 6 has plenty of torque to move a load. In-bed campers are usually pretty heavy when loaded for camping, probably far heavier than the lightweight F150 payload capacity. You'll need to get the weight of the camper that you intend to use and find the weight that your F150 will handle to determine if you are within the limits.
