Default Key chime and steering column issues

I have issues with my steering column. First off I have a '93 F150 XLT 5 speed. My chime goes turns off when it feels like it. I pull my key out shut my lights off an have my door open my chime keeps going. To stop it, it depends on what kind of mood it is in on what I have to do, put the key in and remove rapidly. Turn the key some (without the key in) since it is a 5 speed I can turn it 360 degrees all day with no key in it. Turn the steering wheel slightly to set off the steering wheel lock. Put key back in and remoce quickly seems to be the most persistant in what works
Issue 2, I have tilt. About a month ago I noticed my left turn signal didn't want to work. I wiggled it it worked. I finally discovered it consistanly works with the tilt in the top 2 posititons. (not where I like it). I can get it to work pretty consistantly where I want it if I pull the tilt wheel all the way down then, move it up and try each position until I find the first one it works in. But that same position wont work starting from the top and moving down. Where do I start? Anyone had similat experiences?

My '92 did that. Went to autozone got a new keylock cylinder installed it and all of it ended.

Can I do that and keep my same key? I don't want to change the door ones and if I wanted thr stupidness of separate lock and ignition I would have bought a ****-filet. I mean Government Motors. I mean. Well you get the point. I guess this means I have to change all of them.

Think I paid 25 bucks for mine. You can go the ford dealership and get one to match your key. They will take the number from it and get you one. If cost is a factor though two keys is not that big of a deal.
