Arrow K & N Question

I've seen that a lot of people have the K&N Air Filter in their truck.
What exactly is so special about this air filter?

Sorry for so many posts, just learning, so try and bear with me.

No worries on the questions. That's why we're all here - information exchange!

The K&N costs more upfront, but if you plan to keep the truck for several years it will pay for itself because you just clean it instead of replacing it. It also gives a nice boost to your incoming air, which gives you a few cheap and easy HP.

Don't worry, I had the exact same question. Now I am sold and going to start out with the drop in filter first, because these bad boys are expensive.

Well worth it, just remember to keep it clean and oiled.
