ATF=Automatic Transmission Fluid... is your 5 speed an automatic?
for transfer case, there is transfer case fluid... a different one, you need to get Transfer Case Fluid for that..

pictures doesnt reflect real size bottles of fluid neither proportion

dont know the year of your truck... I have a 96 4x4. But, the book just says mercon. But the book also says to put type F in power steering. My truck had regular power steering fluid in it from the factory and thats what I put back into it. Anyway, you cant get mercon anymore. Only Mercon V or Dex Mercon. Some put Dex Mercon but I put Mercon V in mine. The Dex Mercon smells like regular trannie fluid to me. The Mercon V smells a little stronger, like it has a few more additives in it such as something like a GL5. Thats why I went with the Mercon V. Both bottles , the Dex and the V, say its for older Fords...

ATF DOES = automatic tranny fluid, and 5 spd generally = manual.
In my jeep it was unanimous to NOT put ATF in the manual, thats why i was confused about people actually saying to put ATF in it.
My truck is a 95, cant find the specific tranny model anywhere. Bought the truck without a book or anything.
