Default IST MAF conversion

Hey all,

I was reading in this thread (https://www.f150forum.com/f10/89-f15...exhaust-52579/) about dual exhausts and came across someone that said they were using an IST MAF conversion. This made me wonder:

Is it possible to convert my MAP engine to a MAF setup? Would there be any power or efficiency gains from switching? Anyone else using IST products?

Yeah I have they're maf kit. Dam nice kit with lots of performance parts you don't get with dunne rites...but you pay for it. Www.mass-air.com is their site. It's a pretty complex kit and if you haven't done wiring, or don't like it...use dunne rites. It's way simpler and cheaper, but less parts with the kit. Doing that just broadens the amount of parts you can use. If you want to build a fire breathin monster for under the hood, you can. Where as with the speed denity that's not possible. You prob would notice a lil more power by doing the convert, but if your not planning on building a performance engine I really don't reccomend it, it's pretty costly for the gain you'd get just on a stock engine.
