Intermittent Wipers
I've got a 1990 F150 that does not have intermittent wipers (just low and high constant speeds). They are working fine now as-is, but I'd really like to have the intermittent option.
Can I just change the switch to one that is for intermittent wipers and add the intermittent control module? Or is there more to it than that?
From what I've read, the actual wiper motor is the same for both. My current wiper switch does not turn left...just right for normal-on and fast-on plus the push for washer.
These are the part numbers I've found that I think will do it with the price range from various parts sites.
Wiper Switch with Intermittent Wipers: D10Z-17A553-A ($38 to $60)
Intermittent Windshield Wiper Control Module: E9TZ-17C476-A (most are around $100)
I found listings on ebay for both parts together: $160 new or $79 used. (I probably won't mess with used).
Thanks for any advice.

It's PnP to unplug the original switch, plug in the interval governor, and then plug it into the interval switch (which also requires the attached ground wire be screwed to the dash structure). I'd only install used originals - Ford hasn't made those new in decades, and I don't trust chinese copies.
