Thanks Steve. I’ll have some time today to keep troubleshooting. In the meantime here is some other info.
I had had a buddy helping me and unlike my original post where I said the engine will turn over but won’t start, it Actually is starting every time and stalling out immediately. That’s all I got for now.

Update:
So I’ve now been able to drive the truck with no issues using my rear fuel tank. When I originally thought the pressure was worse on the rear tank I had always tried to swap it after driving around using the front tank and then doing tests. My rear tank fuel pressure was around 40-45 psi consistently. So while yes my front tank fuel pump was just barely in spec at 30psi, it obviously is losing pressure after getting warm.
I never was able to get a fuel
pressure reading directly after I had driven it but so far
Im coming to the conclusion that the front fuel pump is just getting weak and going bad. I hope that’s the case anyway. I’ll keep driving around in the rear tank and if I can go a solid week with no problems I’ll look into changing the fron fuel pump.
With that being said, is motorcraft the best option when replacing the original fuel pump? I’ve heard most now for these older trucks suck.
