My interior lighting is screwed up. When I open the driver side door, the light does not come on, or if I even try to manually turn it on myself while inside the vehicle. However the light will automatically turn on when someone opens the passenger door.

Is this a simple wiring problem, or is my lighting system all screwed up. Any suggestions on how to fix would be very helpful.

 

My 1992 does this it's the door jamb switch and I dont feel like replacing it.. Can u still turn it on from the dash switch?
