interior fan

Default interior fan

My heater blower won't turn on unless in the hi position. has anyone had this problem before? if so is there an easy fix I've messed with the wiring a little but not too much. oh it's an 88 by the way

when you turn it on the high position does it blow like it is on low or hi?
I have an 88 also i had to adjust the cables on the lil snaps to get everything to work right.

it blows hi I can't turn it down. was it the housing around the cable that you had to adjust?

Yes it was the housing around the cable i had to adjust (not sure which ones i had to adjust, it was about a year ago) I layed on the floor with a flashlight, move the one that is giving you problems. See which housing moves, then unclip it and hold the housing in your hand while you move the ****. Just move the housing until you get it in the right position and snap it back into place. But ya might want to mark the housing with something just incase it doesn't work. If that doesn't work then i have no idea unless it came loose to where it hooks up to the back of the heater unit. Hope this helps ya.

ok that should be easy I had to do that for the temperature control after putting a new heater core in I'm sure that's why it's off on the fan speed selecter too. thank you
