Default interesting sequence of warning lights...

I just signed up and hope that someone can shed some light on the gremlins my '94 5.0 a/t has. Just bought the truck and this is what it is doing... when I start it the ABS light and parking brake light will stay on. This has happened only a few times since I bought the truck but I am worried that it will start happening more. When the two warning lights come on my heater fan won't run (scary b/c it is -5F today), the blinkers won't work, and no reverse lights. Any ideas? I was thinking that it may be a fuse but all looks good on the panel. There was an auto start but the previous owner removed it and a trailer brake that was not hooked up so I took it out.

The 1st thing I would check is the engine to frame ground cable.and then all of the other ground conections. other than that I would need more info. Bubbabud

Thanks I will start checking the grounds. What other information would be helpful?

Im not sure if your 95 is OBD2 or if it is earlyer computer EEC but you might see if it can be scaned for the brake warning and that would give you a place to start also when you removed the brake controler are there any wires that ar not conected because it could have tied into a dash cluster ground which got left disconected im asuming it was wired near the lower left kick panel and that is where the switch is for the parking brake warning light is.electrics are hard to diagnose in person and almost imposible long distance good luck Bubbabud
