I have a 1985 F-150 with a AOD transmission that blew it's fluid out on a hot day pulling a grade. I have a 1995 F-250 XLT, (Trans code is E) with an E4OD that has been used for parts and my question is will the E4OD bolt up in place of the AOD in my 85 F-150? With a trans code of T?

 

It will bolt up if they both are small blocks, but the electronics from the 85 will not run the E4OD from the 95. It would be a nightmare to get it to work.
