i just recently bought a 93 f150 ext. cab with the 5.0 in it about three times a week fuse 17 blows and all of the gauges go out except for the odometer when i put a new fuse back in the abs light is on intill i shut the truck off and start it up again any clues on why this keeps happening thanks in advanced

 

Check for rubbing wires somewhere, or check for a non working gauge, it might be bad. Also check under the dash maybe if there was former owner he might have did something with the wiring.

 

all the gauges work im going to look for a bad wire i was hoping someone else has had this problem and could give me some place to start looking
