Default Installing a Tacho on 94'

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the tachometer I have (The truck didn't come stock with one) and I happen to be a "chevy guy" slowly driving a Ford :P but I hooked up my tach to the coil like your supposed to and what not but it still seems to not be working, Is there a special place that you put it? The truck has a 300 Straight Six (what a wicked motor) and tis a 5 speed, I'm just putting the tach in just for fun so thanks for the help =P

Never have installed an after-market tach.

Would you elaborate on where you hooked everything up to? Maybe that will help jog some brain cells (tough on a Sunday!).

Well there would only be one spot to hook it up, First to the neg on the coil and then all the power cords were also done.

What they said is right. On the 94 is it a coil pack or a single coil that has 1 wire off of it. If its a pack finding the right wire might be a problem.

I believe it is a pack x.x, and the tach is already set to 6 cyl.
