Default installing fog lights

My wife bought me some fog lights for christmas this year. I got hella 500 ffs. looking at the wiring and what not seemed pretty straight forward. the kit came with a wiring harness, a relay two inline fuse wires...with crappy fuses, a switch, the two lights of coarse, and finally the two stone guards. spent all of saturday installing them with my wife.(she is a hell of alot better dealing with electronics than i am) anyway after a few hicups with the fuses in the lines and some of the connections coming apart, they work. the connections came apart due to improper crimping, but we fixed theat. I am not sure how the fuse kept blowing, its only a 15a fuse though. fixed that with, deleting it. I did some research about them, apparently alot of folks had a problem with the fuse thingy. anyway after i deleted it no problems. ran the wires into the cab, for the switch, drilled a hole in the dash bezel next to my other lights, installed the switch, hooked everything back up and it all works great. i have one problem though... the lights are on my grill guard, but the tabs which they are mounted dont sit high enough for the lights to be properly adjusted. they hit the guard. so the solution to my problems is a spacer or a nut spaced between the light and the tab. thats my project today as soon as the sun comes up lol. ill post some pictures of how they look. but these pictures where taken last night, ill get some better pictures when the sun allows me to.

we had to order them because of the auto parts stores not stocking them.. oriellys wanted a 110 for the older type. and auto zone didnt have any in there warehouse so its best to order online. i got mine from 4 wheel parts .com but they had to ship my order from denver. problem was they were back ordered for about a week. then they checked their inventory in their stores and got a set. but i only paid 79 something for them.

lol yea i had to do some spacing with my lights so i could aim them further down. i just need to save money up and re do everything, get some good lights and wire the power wire into a power wire for my headlights so i can just leave the switch on and turn them off/on when i flick my brights off/on. i went over the pass and i got sick of flicking the switch every 30 seconds lol.

but that might be a good idea for you too.

well the hellas are designed to be used with or without the switch you just run the trigger line to your factory headlamps instead of the switch then they come on when your reg lights do. i wanted the switch because i didnt want them on all the time with my reg lights

i mean wire them into your brights, so when you turn your brights on, they come on (keep the switch though so you can turn them off whenever) it just makes it so you only have to flick the high beams to turn everything off, instead of hitting 2 switches.
