Default ignition module

Would that cause the engine to run rich and occasionally to stall? I have a cracked manifold so I can smell the difference I can also smell it is running a little rich out of the exhaust, I changed the low\up intake, which stopped my oil leak, cleaned some sensors, changed the tps, I had the same problem before I did the work, I checked the injectors and they are clean on the ends and the pintle caps are all good, and after it still does it, the idle would lope then stall, start it up and runs ok, it does it intermittently, went to work ok in morning didnt stall but I can fel the power drop, coming home it would start, the past couple of days it started after work, the cel does not come on, I hooked up my msd 5200, little more power but still does the same thing, the only thing I can think of is the ignition module, do they just go bad and stop working or do they sometimes work and not?

Do error code scans (i guarantee you have active codes), TFI module problem won't show on a scan but could rule out the PIP sensor which has identical symptoms when failing. Do a Fuel pressure test too! How many miles on your o2 sensor (noticeably rich w/ no CEL light)? Coil age? Last time combustion chambers Seafoamed?http://www.handsontools.com/Equus-In...ol_p_5574.html You can find them in stores too if you call around, but make sure it's a #3145 model! or see sticky post at top of first page for manual "count the flash" method.

The only codes I can understand are for tps and map, nothing close to o2 sensors truck has 150,000, pip? whats that? coil ok, I am using an msd 5200so spark is ok, I have some old o2 sensors from my tbird I will use just to try and see if anything changes, today I drove all around, I could feel it hesitate some times but not stall.
