Default Idling issues!?

My truck runs great for the most part but idling is ifie. With the IAC unpluged it idles about 700 or so like it should. With the IAC plugged in it idles around 1100-1500. It has no emissions crap on it any more. The EGR is there but the pipes are welded shut and its unplugged cause it seems to have no effect on idle or running down the highway. With the IAC plugged in or not the TPS can be unplugged with no change in idling. With no IAC it wont idle till it warms up and I have to keep my foot on the gas. Any tips or hints would be great. I want to straighten out all this before I finish putting together my roller 302 to put in it.

Sounds like it needs a new IAC motor and a throttle body cleaning..Use throttle body cleaner not carb cleaner or brake cleaner.
