I was wandering how much idling effects gas mileage? I'm in my 1991 4.9.

Greatly. You won't get great mpg with city (stop and go) driving or extended idling.

Ok because here recently I've been getting about 14 mpg but my idle time has been extremely high because I've been doing testing to my sound system since the new box. I have to crank my truck or it'll kill my battery lol.
