Default Idle questions

I took my intake manifold off and cleaned all the carbon out and also cleaned the throttle body with parts cleaner I put it back together with new gaskets and used some gasket glue to hold them in place I went to start the truck it seemed to idle lower but then I heard a click it could’ve been something hitting something because it went away but the idle would get really low and the engine would shake and then it get higher and then shake and get higher so I drove it around and it seems better now can someone help me with what that was?

What year is the truck and what motor do you have? Most of the throttle bodies have a big label on them specifically saying NOT to clean them. There could be a number of things causing that issue, but since you recently worked on the throttle body, I'd start by looking at that along with everything around it; things like nearby vacuum lines, gasket mating areas, tps, iac, etc.

You should put ALL the truck's details & history (as much as you know) into your signature so it shows with each post, as this page explains:

(click this text)

Phone apps don't always show signatures, so you may need to switch to a real browser in desktop mode on your phone, or just use a desktop/laptop computer. Put your location in your profile & upload an avatar of the truck. The more pics you post of the truck, engine, wiring, labels, & undercarriage, the more likely we can help you.
