Default Idle help

Hello everyone I have a 92 f150 with the 302 and 5spd. I recently replaced the transmission and did some work to the engine.
Engine mods are gt40 heads with arp springs, comp cam 35-512-8 and BBK shorty headers. I added the iac spacer as well.
I removed all the egr stuff sealed and block off all prots. I did keep the gas purge canister.
My problem is the truck starts up and runs pretty good and idles around 1400 rpms for about 30 seconds which it's always done that, then it drops to about 900rpms which seems good. But once I hit the gas peddle it will Rev high and slowly come down to about 1200 and stay there. The tps is reading, . 8 the only code I'm getting is 13r which is a idle code but I can't seem to find any information on how to resolve it. My timing is set 10 btdc, the iac spacer screws are adjusted all the way in. I have done the reset and nothing seems to help. Also put a new throttle cable on but it didn't help bc if you disconnect it I still get the same thing.

You should put ALL your truck's details & history (as much as you know) into your signature so it shows with each post, as this page explains:

(click this text)

Phone apps don't always show signatures, so you may need to switch to a real browser in desktop mode on your phone, or just use a desktop/laptop computer. Put your location (nearest city) in your profile &/or signature, & upload an avatar of the truck. The more pics you post (NOT in your sig) of the truck, engine, wiring, labels, & undercarriage, the more likely we can help you. Not all its details are relevant to these issues, but you don't necessarily know which ones are relevant, so just put everything in now. So far, I can see it should contain at least
92 5.0L(GT40s,ARPsprings,CompCam,shortyBBKs,IACspacer ,EGRdelete) 5sp...
But it's missing a lot, like trim level, complete list of options, cab/bed sizes, 2/4WD, colors, miles, maintenance, damage, repairs, tires, gears...

Sounds like it'd be a lot better off closer to the way Ford built it. It ran better their way.

If you're getting that from a scanner, you should return it for refund ASAP, and only use a jumper wire to read codes, as Ford recommends. It's long & boring, but read this page:

With all of the mods you say you have made, you most likely need to get the ECM tuned, Yes, you can get that done, you can even do it your self if you have the time. Do some searching around google for tuning a ford EEC-IV, You may find out it is much easier to put some of that stuff back on the motor.
