Friend of mine with a 2WD said his GPS told him he was doing 112mph and he said he still had a little ways to go.

truck wont go 140...wont hold the road and even then the ECM rev limiter will shut you down long before that

unless you are carbed

The Rev limiter cuts me off at about 90 mph. Just as well, because I'm usually on a rode trip w/ a 700lb. bike strapped to the bed when it's put to use. Anything over 75 mph, my auxiliary rev limiter kicks in anyway (Girlfriend). I've yet to find a way around that one! Except when she nods off.

I didn't think GPS could calculate vertical descent speed?

Hahaha. I honestly have no clue. He said he was doin' 112, he coulda been full of crap. I didn't know these trucks had rev limiters. I get scared when i pass 80 in mine.

112 there would be pieces of something everywhere from the vibrations. I barely hit 110 in my old F100 with a cleveland with 1\2 mile road ahead.
