I need to know where the radiator hoses connect
I just got stuck with my 1989 ext cab xl. I was at a stoplight and I noticed my coolant meter dropped and my temp. Went up high, then my truck shut off. I pushed it to the side of the road and I noticed the radiator was bone dry. I put a gallon of water and noticed all the water just poured on the floor. I checked where the leaked was coming from and a hose on the left side of the radiator was connected to the radiator, but it was not connected to anything on the other end of the hose. I need to know where the hose connects to opposite of the radiator by morning so I can get to school tomorrow. Can yall help me out please.

If you are talking about the large radiator hose it should be in a certain shape and that should lead you to where it connects on the other end. The opening is usually open from the bottom side. You will need a screwdriver to tighten the clamp and possibly a clamp. Are you talking about a hose one and a half inches or so in diameter?

It's the black hose, the one at the bottom left side of the radiator
It's a 302 windsor
this is the end of the hose not connected to the radiator

You got me stumped unless it's some kind of oil cooler line, but I kind of doubt it. If the hose is intact it should be somewhat obvious where it hooks to. A lot better in the daylight I know.

All that is ...is your radiator drain petcock...that hose is to direct the flow of coolant when draining the radiator...it does not connect to anything ...it's a drain line...you must have a bad petcock if water is free flowing from it or its cracked or not shut ...

I got underneath it just now and i took some pictures, don't know if this helps any
Update: I took the drain plug out and I saw that it was broken. I went over to Auto Zone to find that the plug they had their that "fits all fords" doesn't fit mine. I tried everywhere; Napa, oreillys, advance auto. None of them have the plug that fits my radiator. I was wondering if anyone has the same radiator as I do and if they could point in the direction of the store that may have the plug that fits my radiator.

I don't have the model number or name of the radiator, and I don't know how to find it.
I hope these pictures can help
