Default i have a 95 f150 with a 4.9 4x4.standard transmission with od.

I have a 1995 f150.would like to know from. what year to what year. I can pick one since the tranny is going bad. what the # to replace one. thank you

So you have the Mazda 5 speed manual transmission, also known as a M5ODR2. Any 5 speed that was in a F-150 from 1988 to 1996 should work. The bell housing pattern for the 4.9 the 5.0 and the 5.8 is the same. I don't think they put the Mazda 5 speed behind the 5.8 though.

So any Mazda 5 speed 4X4 transmission that was behind a 4.9 or 5.0 should work. I think you know the 4X4 transmissions are different than the 4X2 transmissions.

88xlt is correct. The M5ODR2 can also be found in '87-'96 Broncos - behind the 4.9 and 5.0 engines.
