can someone help me locate the actuator for a 1992 f150 my left hub is not locking but my right is which will not let front wnd pull

You must have automatic hubs. Time to put manuals in.

Yep no actuator on these...the auto hubs are nice but break way to easy. Put a set of warn manual lock hubs on an you'll be set.

Theres only an actuator in the transfer case, the auto hubs lock automatically when the axle shafts start to spin. You might have to take it apart and see whats up.

I know the last pic if for an 8 lug hub but they work the same way. But id recommend manual hubs which are way more reliable and easy to swap out.

will these hubs go bad just sitting? the 4 wheel drive worked when it was parked a year ago.

It could be stuck, maybe some greasing could help. But i think maybe the locking ring or washer is broken and the hubs wont engage like the previous pick shows.
