Default Hub question?

I just wanted to throw a question out there and see what you all thought. The other day while I was coming out of a logging road at some point there must've been a rock in the bank that caught the end of my manual lockout hub on the passenger side. Now I'm noticing that some grease is starting to come out where the hub assembly joins the rotor. I checked all of the allen screws on the hub and they're all tight. Now I'm just wondering if something is screwed up inside of the lockout? 4wd still works great but I don't want to take any chances. What do you guys think happened or am I just being paranoid?

mine used to do that after driving on the highway for a while. i think its just from excess grease in the hub. your bearing nut might be too tight and getting hot. does that hub feel any more hot than the other side, after driving it a while?

I don't think that it really feels any different than the other side. I'm almost 100% positive that I didn't notice the grease starting to seep out until my lockout came into contact with a rock. I was wondering if maybe a seal or something inside of the lockout got pinched or torn and was letting grease out. I'm definitely no expert when it comes to lockout hubs.

You might have killed the rubber seal, its a large oring that goes on the hub to seal it.
