I got a 1988 f-150 reg cab long bed and my gpa owns a shop and he said he'd paint it for free, but all I got to pay for is the paint. What's a good estimate on how much that would cost?

 

it depends on how many coats and if you want a special color or clear coat metallic flakes or just metallic black. go to the local shops and talk to them about what would be a good way to go for paint. for example house of Kolor is freeing sweet but is real expensive.

 

oriellys out here in missouri sells paint, single stage(clear and paint in one) and 2 stage paint sprayed the clear sprayed. i got single stage with everything and primer with everything for about 250 bucks. 1 gal of paint makes about 2 gallons once cut.
