Any way to tell if a 1990 f150 has rolled over on the mileage? Found one that is saying it has 47,000 miles on it....curious to if it's really 147,000.

Does it not have an extra digit? My old '88 I think had the old analog style (for lack of a better term) and my '96 has digital. It's been a while since the truck has been below 100k but I think it didn't show the 6th digit until it reached 100k.

Check the title. It should have the mileage at the time of the last transfer.

If the truck is within the same state go to the dmv or call and they have records, emissions, inspections, title transfer ect. You can use power of deduction to determine mileage, who knows might be 2 hundred thousand.

Yeah the outside paint isn't great but the inside is clean. No cracks in the dash. Drives straight and smooth. Transmission shifts very smooth.

My '87 had 159,ooo km and it had the 1 showing. You should have an extra blank spot left of the 4. Unless it was a million and 47000 (not likely). I thought they all had the extra digit by the '80's
