The cluster just plugs right in, just be sure to find the one thats compatible with you're year (94-96 cluster).

You need a cluster out of another 96, it's the only one that will work.

Guys ! I went to 5 junk yards an I found 1 cluster ( f250 97 diesel ) looks the same one and the other ones are for automatic transmition that oones work?

I'm not sure if that will work or not. Don't the diesel tachs only go up to 4,000 rpm? And it can be from either an auto or manual, you can swap out the shift indicator for the little black plate, it's two bolts.

Yea the tach in my diesel doesn't redline as high as my 5.0 did, I'm not sure what number exactly but it is different

ok ! perfect well I find some ones but are 92 & 94's ,as I saw on the comments only fit t he 96's cluster ..... so ebay will be my option

Looking at my diagrams, I don't see any different wiring between the 94-96 F150 clusters, so don't see why it wouldn't work.

Diesels go to 4000 I believe and gas is 6000
