honestly, if you're looking to just get the tires and not spend too much on a lift... spacers and add-a-leaf isn't a bad way to go. If you're not getting into a lot of crazy trail or rock climbing you should be fine without the added articulation. Keep in mind coil spring spacers can throw off your alignment, but there's an offset bushing to correct, and you just have to get it re-aligned.

sorry to steal the thread for a second...
along the lines of coil spacers, is it worth it to replace the axle pivot brackets with 2" drops? my drivers side bracket is cracked, and i need to replace it. absolutely no idea where to get one. could I just weld it, replace with new OEM, or 2" dropped bracket?

i dont think any trucks came with 32's stock maybe something your dealer put on to make them sell faster, i know the dodge dealer out here puts lifts and everything on some of their trucks to sell them. and my dad had bought a 99 superduty that the dealer had put on a 4'' lift and 35x12.5's with 10 wide wheels

i tell ya what if you put 33's on a stock 4x4 and then cut the plastic botttom portion of the front bumper off it looks really good and it looks lifted because the bumper appears higher. im gonna do a 2'' level and a block in the back and it should look pretty good. Also on another note im getting my resonator cut off today so ill be running just a cat and glass pack out dual 3.5'' tips ))))))))
