Default how doth one cleaneth this?

1995 F150 XLT 5.0 with 327,000+ miles

What's the best way to clean this lower intake? It's a bit dirty.

Steam Jenny if you can find one. If not, heat it up a bit and use oven cleaner .

Remove the injectors, and dunk it in a solvent tank. Crystal Clean is the best; Var-Sol may be more common; but you can DIY with a large plastic storage container (~$10 @ WM/Sam's/etc.) and a couple gallons of deodorized mineral spirits. Buy a funnel so you can put it back into the original capped bottles when you're done, so it doesn't evaporate or spill.

A pressure washer will also do a lot of good.

When most of the grime is gone: a cup brush on a drill, or a sandblaster will get rid of the last crusts. If you then wash it in warm soapy water, or brake cleaner, you can paint it like original:

The last step is to plane the sealing surfaces. If you don't want to DIY, pay a machine shop ~$20.
