What about if you cut the pipe to about 2.25" and the pucks total hieght is 3"??? That would provide good support and still keep the pressure on the pucks wouldnt it??? And how hard do you wheel?? When i wheel its basically puddle jumping on the trails on the air force base. Rarely flex out, but there are alot of nice hills to climb and ditches to drive through.

i'm hard on my truck, lol the first time out after building it i wanted to go down one trail and the only way to get down it was to drag a tree down the side off the body, tore my mirror off and damn dear ripped my gas door off. dents dont matter to me. battle scars are what i call them lol and thats not an oil leak is sweat for all the horsepower. lol

i've had it out twice and i've beat in the drivers side body, sheared off the 4 X 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts that hold my transfercase skidplate on. ripped OFF my front bumper, and broke the 2 front core support bolts
reved it so high i had a push rod fall off the rocker and bent another one. oh and tore off the drivers side mirror.

Wow man. Im only 18. And i worked 65 hour weeks last summer to buy my truck. Im working the same hours now so i can spruce it up. My ultimate vision of it is just a hardcore survival capable truck. But ive always wanted to buy a jeep or zuk or something to use like you use your truck.

Yeah upsizing the bolts like that is a good idea too. Anything to make them stronger.
