91 4.9 5spd 4x4 I parked my truck after running a few errands get back in and it's idling high. Any ideas what it could be? Driving it right now just the idle is high before I start driving or when u press in the clutch

 

I can literally not touch the gas at all and slowly let off the clutch and it'll go forward on its on

Pull the connector for the IAC and see if the idle changes. Start checking for vacuum leaks. Check the throttle cable to make sure it isn't hanging up and holding the tb oprn slightly.

 

How about checking for codes ? crownman has some good starting points there

 

No codes are being thrown an ill check that thanks! Also it's pretty odd but it was doing it sometimes yesterday but hasn't done it all today.. Gonna clean the iac and check the cable etc thanks for the tips.

 

IAC and TPS come to mind as the most likley, after you check the physical links and vacuum lines.
