high idle

My 88 with.the 300 has been idling real high for a while now
Any ideas why it is?

Idle air controll valve need cleaning or replaced,vac leak, tps bad. I would clean the throttle body and

X2 good advice, I had a similar problem and went straight to air & fuel. IAC,TPS, fuel & air filter. Big help. Try those also it's cheap and quick
