Any thoughts?

Thanks!
I was just doing some reading and came across this method for testing the TPS. I will run through these tests tonight or tomorrow and hopefully get a little closer to figuring out the problem.

hopefully it solves your issues. the more i have been searching the more i think i got a bad MAP sensor but i know the o2 sensor has got to be near the end of its life and whats another $15 on a cheap TPS? i think i might try the ntk o2. rock auto says both are OE type.

thanks for the code. i got a couple of those that are still good. in the last 3 months i have spent nearly $600 ordering stuff from rock auto and have save a fare bit of money using those codes. i just wish stuff would stop breaking.

I suppose that old trucks keep life interesting....even if they seem to constantly drain your wallet of cash....

funny enough it is not an old truck draining my wallet. i got a 81 d150 that has been a reliable low maintenance truck. it is my 93 ramcharger that has been sucking me dry. my dad pays for the parts on his ford so that don't hurt my wallet. i just usually install them.

If you guys figure anything out, please relay the information back to this thread. I think I'm having the same problem, and its really expensive.

Sounds crazy, but my truck did this until I installed an aftermarket cone air filter. Now it idles and runs excellent.
