Default Help with Tire sizes!

Hey everyone, been a part of the 04-08 section for a while but I guess I'm joining this section today too since I just bought a 1987 F-150! Among other things, it's gonna need new tires before too long. Tread's getting towards being low and its got some camber wear. My only problem is, it has Lightning wheels on it. The guy I got it from said that with those rims the tire sizes have to be kinda specific. Currently it has 275/60r17 on it, but I'm curious as to what all different sizes would be able to fit on a wheel that size? Wheel size is 17x8. Also, I'm going to be putting a leveling kit on it so I'm hoping to squeeze 33's under it. I know it's probably going to be a long shot with those wheels but figured I'd ask! Thanks in advance.

275/60r17 only works out to about 30x11. 33's won't fit without rubbing the radius arms/bumper unless you have about 3-4" of lift and the proper offset wheels.
