Default Help with surging at speed

Hello again everyone!

Since I've now swapped out my bad water pump and got the truck back to where it's running again, I figure it's time to tackle the next issue(s). (thanks again to everyone for the WP help!)

The truck seems to surge whenever I try to keep the speed at 50 km/h (yes, I'm in Canada). It feels like the throttle just doesn't register that I'm keeping the pedal at the same spot and kicks on and off.

A friend at work here has a code reader so we ran the full test and it came back with a 121. From what I've read and seen that's the Throttle Position Sensor and logically (in my mind at least) it makes sense with what I've been experiencing.

I guess my questions are what should I be checking with the TPS (if anything) or is this just a replace it and see if it fixes the issue?

Is there anything else that would commonly throw a 121?

Thanks again!
