Default Help Please wiring

1994 f150 5.0
broke down three times in 4 mo. the garage said they fixed it. 2 weeks latter i am broke down again. they said no power to the rear fuel pump but power to the front fuel pump. the front pump is out so they wired it up so it would run on the rear it lasted 2 weeks . I do not have enough money to keep doing this at the same garage... so i am on my own i no nothing about anything.. so i am asking for help ,,,, any pics on the wiring to the pumps , i am doing this by myself

I wish I knew how to help you fix this off the top of my head but I dont.. But there may be hope, I would start by going to a book Store like hasting or Barnes an nobles. Try to find a Mechanics Manuel that shows you everything and anything about the truck you have. If you cant I would try googling some other options, Or go to your local ford dealer and ask one of their Techs if they have any advice at all to help in your situation. It sounds like the selector switch is bad you will have to do a voltage check at the switch to see if you have voltage coming out of it. To get at the switch you will need to pull the instrument bezel.

Also you will need to jumper the data plug to have power all the time to check the voltage or have the tester hooked up and turn on the switch you will have power only for a couple of seconds that way.
