Default Help please, EGR sensor?

Whats up everyone so heres the prob. i got a code 332 and a 334 also when i start up my truck the idle goes up and down, up and down untill it dies or i put it into gear or sometimes it will correct itself on its own. i went and got a new EGR sensor and put that on and it did the same thing with the idle. oh and also before i got the sensor i did have a few cracks in some of the vacum lines which i replaced. so what should be my next move here? thanx for any kinda help!

Clean throttle body and air bypass valve, most likely idle problem.

First, as mentioned, check to see if the EGR Vac solenoid is supplying Vac to the EGR Valve at idle. It should not. Do this by pulling the Vac supply tube off the EGR valve. You may notice a slight palpation, but there should be no Vac to speak of.
See link: http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=43

If no Vac is found, remove the large nut & tube connected to the EGR Valve. A penny will just fit in the EGR tube under the EGR valve.

This will block all flow to the EGR valve from the exhaust and if the EGR valve is sticking open this will cause the engine to act like the EGR valve is closed.
So with a penny in there and it idles OK, it will mean you have a EGR valve problem seating &/or remaining closed.

All this assumes you have already diligently inspected for & eliminated any & all leaks w/in the engines Vac system.
