Default Help Please!!!

I own a 1995 f150 with the 4.9. For some reason it will not start and there is no power to anything. it will run fine if i jump it but if i shut it off it loses all the power to everything. I was told this could be the alternator or maybe the ground to the battery or something. any ideas? would be greatly appreciated

Start with the basics. Take off both battery cables and clean both the cable end and the battery posts. If that doesn't work, check the connection of the positive battery cable end at the solenoid. If you have access to a volt/ohm meter, check the dc volts of the battery. Possibly connections, battery, or could be the alternator. Check in that order.

Sounds like you might have a problem with the ignition switch, might be an adjustment or a bad switch.
