Default Help with Master Cylinder Replacement

I am replacing the master cylinder on my 1987 F150 4x4. The brake pedal is just going to the floor, hardly have any brakes at all.

Well, I have two questions:

1) There is a connector on the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir, I am having a heck of a time trying to get that unconnected. How does this thing release, I cannot find a release to get the dadgum thing off. Any help would be appreciated.

2) On my brake lines I have two different size nuts connecting them into the master cylinder, the bigger nut came loose rather easily, but the little nut closest to the firewall I could not get to brake loose and in efforts to do so I have rounded off the nut somewhat. Looking for some guidance on how to brake this thing loose, open to suggestions.

1.) he connector in the resovoir, is the low fluid sender plug. pry up on the hook tabs, and pull connector aout. Might have to wiggele and tug on it pretty good if have never been out. Squirt little WD40 on it.

2) Vise grips are you friend with rounded line nuts. Soak it with WD40 or PB blast for a little while beforfe clamping vise grips on.

Once you get that rounded line off you will either need to install a new fitting or replace the line. Unless you have some experience with flare fittings I recommend replacing the line.
