Default Help i am lost....

I have a 1995 ford flareside 302 v8 has 210,xxx miles, rescently had a issue with the waterpump/fan assembly coming apart at the shaft where it is normally pressfit on. After the nessecary parts were replaced to get the old girl running again, ie new radiator, new water pump it has been idleing very rough no matter what i try to remedy nothing works. Rescently i have found it is leaking oil pretty heavily near the transmission but cant pin point the actual leak. What in the hell, i mean really how does the fan assembly and water pump effect something so far under my vehicle...??? Please help i love my truck, a few years a go the motor and transmission were both replaced at the same time no more then 50k miles on both, regular oil changes filters everything i could possibly do to keep it running smoothly. But i am at a complete loss as to how to remedy this. Thanks in advance for your time looking and contemplating this issue.

This sounds like multiple different problems all at once. Not quite sure about your idle other than check your IAC, plugs, wire and distributor for cross firing and arcing. As for your oil leak near the trans, most likely your rear main oil seal. You will have to have the transmission and the flywheel pulled off to have it replaced. That or the back of your oil pan gasket is gone.

Treat her to a oil change every 2500 to 3000 miles and yearly checkups she will treat you to a long life
