Default Help diagnosing my fuel problem

Alright, I got in the truck this afternoon and turned the key and noticed the fuel pump didn't turn on. So I realize there's an issue in the fuel electrical system. I checked the inertia switch and it's fine. So then I pulled the fuel pump relay and tried to jumper from the always hot wire to the output wire and still didn't hear the fuel pump kick on which to me is basically saying the fuel pump is the issue. I do have power coming into the relay and when I jumper across I have power going out of the relay. So I'm assuming that since I have power going to the fuel pump that the fuel pump is the part that has gone bad. Can anyone confirm or deny my thinking? Thanks!
