Default Help from the brain trust!

Have an '89 F150 auto with 302 and 4x4 with 135K. Had it about two months and still learning creaks and groans. Has a little oil leak from valve covers and pan plug. Some coolant getting away somewhere. Pressure test showed good but I can smell coolant after going 20 miles or so. It will puddle a little bit. Seems to be dripping coolant back around the transmission. Right side exhaust manifold has two cracks but isn't noisy yet. Plan to replace valve cover gaskets at the same time I do the manifold. I'd like to keep this truck for a while. Should I take the time and money and do the head gaskets while I have the intake manifold off? Any ideas about the coolant leak? Thanks all.
