my truck will start but when i put it in gear it sputters and bogs out. the more times i do this the harder it gets for the truck to start back up. it almost seems like it getting back pressure but not sure. i was thinking clogged cat but what do i know. i'm no mechanic. any ideas?

Does it do the same with either gas tank?

Simplest part to replace will be the fuel filter.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because the engine starts & runs long enough to try to take off, it's not electrical.
