Default Help.............. on the 4th distrubtor

Does any one have any insight on this one. 1996 302/ five speed has stopped running 4 times now. Has new NAPA Ignition module, new dist cap , new rotor, new coil. I have checked and double checked all wires.
I am on the fourth NAPA reman dist. When it quits the only thing that will get it going again is another dist. Maybe I need a new one. Not rebuilt?
Has anyone else ran into this.

Best Regards, Buddy

I like Richporter distributors. They are cheap and all new parts as well.

Is the Napa distributors coming with the ignition modules attached or seperate, I know they sell them both ways, if not make sure to put dielectric grease between the tfi module and the distributor because if not the module will not last very long they get real hot and burn out

Thanks Guy's,
The module is mounted on the drivers side fenderwell on this one. By the way I did put the d grease on it when replacing it as it does have a heat sink.
I'm wondering if some other component is overstressing some part in the dist.
The tests we ran with a DVOM on it per the Ford service manual before changing this dist were all good right up the dist PIP test which tested bad (non existant). So replaced dist and it fired right up again.
We need an Icon showing me pulling my hair out..............

I had the same type problem, and had to reinstall the original ignition module. The aftermarket ignition module was a POS. So when I replaced my ignition module it was actually the distributor that was the problem.
