what color is the the wire to put a tack in a 94 4.9?

 

Your truck has an E-core coil.It will be the wire on the negative side of the coil.Most of the time they are brown with a yellow tracer or green with a yellow tracer.Just look at the coil.The positive side side will be a red wire with a green tracer.Do not use that wire.

 

hey do u happen to know where i can find the negative coil wire on a 2001 F150 4.2l manuel....it has a coil pack and i just installed and aftermarket tach but im having trouble finding this wire....
