96f150 2 wheel dr at low speed like in a parking lot turning wheel a grinding noise front wheels ...any ideas..

Wheel bearings. Maybe brakes. Lift the truck and try to wiggle the wheels at the top and bottom. They shouldn't move. If they do you likely need new bearings. As long as its up spin the wheels and listen for your noise.

If it howls at high speeds afterwards, then definitely wheel bearings

My ball joints are shot and usually turning at low speed I hear the clanking
