Default hello everyone!

hello everyone! im jon, new to the forum and the truck world. just scored an awesome deal on a 1995 F150 ext. cab short bed, factory dual tanks, eddie bauer edition, auto, push button 4x4, locking hubs, 3:55 LSD diff, 15" alum mag wheels, maybe a few other things im forgetting.

but anyways, ill most likely be on here a lot asking questions, since im not familiar at all with fords or ford trucks (i just know its better than a chevy lol) and i love it already. only complaint is p/o put 33x12.50x15 tires on it and they rub, so im gonna go back to the stock 31x10.50x15 on it for better get up and go and no rub

but anyways, if anyone has any pointers or things i should replace now, or look out for, please let me know!! im a maintenance freak and like to spend a little here and there, than have major stuff go wrong that could have been prevented!

Nice looking truck !
First things to check over would be all the steel brake lines, replace anything that looks even a little iffy. Check the tanks for signs of any leakage. And check over all the connections, especially the grounds - they get neglected and are at least as important as the power connections.
Everything else is basic maintenance, if you run into any specific problems, somebody on here has probably dealt with it before, just ask.

Thanks! Yea I noticed the ground straps need replaced .. the radiator core support rusted and broke but the p/o did a bunch of work to it before he traded it in

in the last 6 months its had all ball joints and tie rods replaced .. all new shocks .. all brake lines replaced and all new brakes (calipers pads rotors wheel cylinders and shoes) the rear fuel tank has been replaced .. he did cap rotor plugs and wires .. trans service .. diff services .. and a cpl other things

It needs front tank straps and fuel sensor (I think .. the gauge doesn't work) the driver door actuator is shot .. needs aligned .. has a coolant leak somewhere .. belt squeal .. and some minor cab rust and needs a fender for rust but that's about it .. I love it!!!

I found the window sticker from when it was new also .. so im gonna work on getting her all cherried out again .. back to her original beauty!

The lighted visor and 250 bumper on that truck make it an awesome find.

It has a 250 bumper? Lol .. if you say so!

And I believe the lighted visor thing was stock from ford .. it has some lighting option group thing on the build sheet

Even had the original window sticker in the original owners manual booklet!

But I do have a question .. im gonna try and restore this completely back to original (needs rust fixed and paint) now the sticker says the color is "dark tourmaline" but most eddie bauer trucks I've seen are a 2 tone .. is there anyway to find out if this truck is supposed to be 2 tone? I like the pin stripe and my "WV 4x4 off-road edition" decal on the bed (assuming maybe the dealer installed that) but no idea if it was supposed to be 2 tone color paint or not

That's a Lund visor, not stock from ford. Not sure what the lighting option would be.
