no heat is coming out the vents what so ever so i am wondering if its the heater coil itself or just a duct in there that is jammed up, but i do beleive its the heater coil

Is there any air coming out at all? If no air at all, do you still hear the blower motor running?

If you're getting cold air, it's likely to be the heater core.

Do a search for blend door on this site. I have replaced three of them and it is very common problem. I think I post a site that you can get a neat replacement kit.

It could be a problem with the air blender door not opening all the way to allow full passage of hot air. There are some posts on that topic already here.
