Do the HID's draw more power . or about the same

HIDs work off of your stock wiring but the ballast box is what provides the amount of power needed for the xenon bulbs. In fact its an advantage over stock halogens because in my last truck my audio system used to dim my factory headlights a little. when I installed the HIDs they never dimmed a bit I guess due to how the ballast box was supplying their power.

They have a HIGH start up draw for an instant but running draw isn't much.
