Hi guys. I have posted here before and absolutely love the knowledgeable feedback I get. Here's my problem and question. I recently, meaning yesterday, took the heads off my truck, 96 f150 5.8l, no smog crap, supercab 4x4 and managed to get everything thing off perfectly except the two front lower intake bolts on each side closest to thermostat broke at the heads. Totally boogered, for lack of using the f word, one and half boogered the other. Don't beat me up on that please. Lol. Just trying to see my options. Gt40s or no, remanned stock or no, you know. Not trying to build a race engine just want a little more pep for my good ol truck. Just trying to do what I can with all that stuff off and a measly budget. Just taking thoughts and not trying to argue or start forum fights. Thank you any input y'all give me. Will give any other specs if needed for good ideas. I have done the plug gap, timing advance, ignition coil and wires thing I have read about. Thanks again. Oh, also have pace setter shorties. Thanks again.
